SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
BCG is looking for several experienced professionals to join the Amsterdam
team at Consultant level. We’re looking for problem solvers who are
passionate about developing ground‐breaking recommendations across a
wide‐range of industries and fields. We are open to applications from a wide
range of backgrounds and from a variety of industries.
As a core member of the BCG Amsterdam Consulting staff, you will be based
at our Amsterdam office working alongside some of the world’s top minds in
strategy management consulting. You will advise clients on executive level
across a variety of industries and topics helping them improve or transform
their businesses and achieve excellence.
You will collaborate in diverse project teams developing strategic approaches based on
thorough fact‐based analyses in order to deliver long‐term impact to our clients.
Working across various industries and topics, you will be challenged out of your comfort
zone, significantly widen your scope of expertise and experience a steep learning curve
both professionally and personally. Along this exciting journey you will be supported by
senior mentors, research and knowledge teams and career development experts who will
help you to achieve your personal and professional goals.
PhD degree OR a Master degree (your application would benefit from at least four years of
consulting or industry experience).

∙ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
∙ Current or previous experience in strategy consulting
∙ Experience of devising and implementing business strategies involving quantitative analysis,
conceptualization and communication of strategic solutions
∙ Exceptional drive and commitment to excellence
∙ Highly self‐driven, and able to think strategically
∙ High level of agility, eager to develop new skills and areas of expertise
∙ High level of adaptability to a frequently changing professional and social working
