employment promotion. In 1980, a comprehensive employment mission was
undertaken the ILO jobs and Skills Programme for Africa (JASPA). It produced a
report entitled “FIRST things FIRST: Meeting the Basic Needs of the People of
Nigeria” (1981).

Employers and Labour Contractors are welcome to use the NELEX Web portal for recruitment functions. You can also Register as an Employer and publish the Vacancies for yourself.

To legally operate as a private recruiting firm, a company must be licenced by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity. The Licence obtained assures jobseekers and other employers of the credibility and competence of the licenced company. It is an offence to function as a recruiting firm without a Recruiter's Licence.
